The microstructures of the Saxidomus purpuratus shell were observed. It was found that the inner and middle layers of the shell are composed of crossed lamellae, while the outer layer exhibits porous structures. With the characteristic structure of each layer, the hardness of inner layer with narrow domains in crossed lamellar structure is the highest, and that of middle layer with wide domains is lower, while the outer layer has the lowest hardness. The damage morphologies of the indentations change a lot, depending not only upon the magnitude of the indentation load, but also upon the orientation between the indentation direction and the crossed lamellae in the microstructure of the shell, which illustrates the anisotropy in mechanical properties of such shells.

碳纳米管因具有优异的电学、力学和热力学性能而被应用于各个领域。利用挤压工艺球磨Cu?CNT粉末制造复合材料,根据CNT的含量评估Cu?CNT复合材料的力学性能。采用行星式球磨机在500 r/min下混合分散CNT (1%,5%和10%)、铜(d=100 nm)、氧化锆球(90 g)和乙醇(20 mL)5min。用铜制造直径50 mm、长100 mm的坯锭,在单轴压力下将复合材料粉末填入坯锭。在挤压过程中,坯锭在880°C下加热1h后,坯锭负载200t,得到圆棒状样品。采用粒度分布仪测量复合材料的粒度,同时采用 SEM 观察挤压样品的表面组织。使用压痕仪测量的力学性能随着CNT含量的增加而提高。Cu?CNTs复合材料的屈服强度、抗拉强度和硬度明显提高。

The microstructure of Ti/TiN multilayer film was studied.It was shown by trans- mission electron microscopy of cross-sectional sample and respective secondary neutrals mass-spectroscopy depth profiling that the film has a periodic alternate multilayered structure:substrate /FeTi/Ti/Ti_2N/TiN/Ti_2N/Ti/Ti_2N/TiN...Ti/Ti_2N/TiN,where FeTi and Ti_2N were the transition layers formed during ion plating.Cross-sectional fracture surface of indentation samples had been obtained and studied with scanning electron microscopy.It was shown that the multilayer film deformed during indentation, formed an indentation pit and a pile-up of materials around the indentation pit.As the applied load increased deformation region extended beyond the film/substratc interface and into the substrate,the interlayer crack in the film and hole formation at the film /substrate interface were initiated.It is also shown that the multilayered Ti/TiN film offered better toughness in comparison with single layer TiN film.

通过对压痕过程进行理论分析,基于能量法研究了残余应力测试原理和方法.通过张量分解,推导了残余应力在压痕过程中所做的功;通过有限元分析,总结了残余应力对压痕过程的影响;根据功与能量的关系,建立了压痕功与残余应力之间的解析模型,并推导了残余应力求解公式.结果表明:残余应力对压痕加载的初始阶段影响很大,但对加载的后半阶段和卸载过程的影响很小,可忽略不计,并且拉应力对压痕过程的影响明显大于压应力,可以认为压痕在加载过程中是一个弹塑性的变形过程,而在卸载过程中是弹性变形过程;试验证明了所建立的残余应力模型求解的残余应力是准确可靠的,可以用于残余应力的测试.

采用数值模拟与实验测量相结合的方法,以钢基镀铬层为对象,研究了侧面压入法评价涂层界面结合性能的影响因素,包括压头形状、压入点距离和涂层厚度等。结果表明:侧面压入导致涂层扇形脱落,脱落尺寸随压入点距离增大而增大,与有限元计算结果符合较好。经综合分析,推荐实验规范为:压头为90°圆锥,压入点距离为涂层厚度的2~3倍。

在铜基体上沉积Cu(Cr)-diamond复合过渡层,用热丝CVD法在复合过渡层上沉积出金刚石膜.用压痕法对沉积的金刚石膜/基结合性能进行了研究.结果表明,在Cu-diamond上沉积的金刚石膜,用147 N压痕时压痕边缘出现大面积崩落,并在基体表面留下被拔出的金刚石凹坑;在Cu-diamond中掺入微量Cr,压痕边缘只形成环形裂纹,增大压痕载荷至441N,环形裂纹区域增大,并出现部分崩落,崩落区域有被切断的金刚石残留.在Cu-diamond复合层中掺入微量Cr能显著提高金刚石膜/基结合力.

研究了压痕对未处理和氮碳共渗S38C钢试样疲劳性能的影响,并将未处理试样疲劳试验结果与Murakami模型计算结果对比,运用扫描电镜分析两类试样的断口形貌.结果表明,未处理试样疲劳强度随着压痕尺寸的增大而降低,和计算结果没有差别.氮碳共渗可将光滑试样疲劳强度提高12%,氮碳共渗试样压痕引发化合物层产生的微裂纹导致试样疲劳强度迅速下降.

使用Abaqus有限元软件通过加载荷与加载位移两种方法对含硅类金刚石膜进行了压痕测试模拟,得到了不同硅含量类金刚石膜的硬度曲线。结果表明:两种方法的模拟结果较吻合,其中加载位移的方法较稳定,速度较快,含硅类金刚石膜的硬度随着硅含量的增加而减小;模拟结果得到了相关试验的验证。
