A genetic algorithm (GA) was studied to simultaneously determine the thermal transport properties and the contact resistance of thin films deposited on a thick substrate. A pulsed photothermal reflectance (PPR) system was employed for the measurements. The GA was used to extract the thermal properties. Measurements were performed on SiO2 thin films of different thicknesses on silicon substrate. The results show that the GA accompanied with the PPR system is useful for the simultaneous determination of thermal properties of thin films on a substrate.

Polyaniline (PANI), polyaniline/titanium dioxide (PANI/TiO2), polyaniline/tin oxide (PANI/SnO2) and polyaniline/indium oxide (PANI/In2O3) thin films were developed by using an in-situ self-assembly method at -10°C. Chemical structure, optical property and morphology of all the thin films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). NH3 gas-sensing properties of PANI and PANI nanocomposite thin films were examined at ambient temperature. The results showed that all the sensors composed of PANI nanocomposite thin films had faster response/recovery rate with better reproducibility, selectivity and long-term stability to NH3 than PANI thin film sensor, and PANI/TiO2 nanocomposite thin film sensor showed optimum NH3 gas-sensing characteristics. The effect of humidity on the responses of all the sensors was also investigated.

采用溶胶-凝胶法、浸渍-提拉法制备了不同形式和不同含量Sm掺杂的锐钛矿晶型TiO2的光催化剂薄膜. 采用X射线衍射、UV-Vis光谱及电化学实验对所制得的TiO2光催化剂薄膜进行了表征,并通过甲基橙溶液的光催化降解实验评价了其光催化活性. 结果表明,与未掺杂的TiO2薄膜相比,Sm掺杂的TiO2薄膜的UV-Vis吸收光波长向长波方向移动,并且光照开路电压也相应提高; 适量Sm掺杂可以明显提高TiO2薄膜的光催化活性,最佳Sm掺杂量为x(Sm3+)=0.5%; 在各种掺杂形式中以表层Sm掺杂的Sm-TiO2(S)薄膜的光催化活性最好. 讨论了Sm掺杂提高TiO2薄膜光催化活性的机理.

综述了超临界流体沉积法(SCFD)在金属及金属氧化物纳米材料制备方面的研究进展,介绍了超临界流体溶解度高、表面张力为零等独特的物理性能,以及可在平坦的、有精细图案的基底表面沉积金属、金属氧化物纳米颗粒或薄膜的技术优势.阐述了超临界流体中纳米颗粒或薄膜的沉积机理,讨论了沉积温度、先驱物浓度、压力、还原剂浓度等因素对沉积速率的影响.展望了超临界流体沉积今后的研究趋势.

采用直流磁控反应溅射法,在玻璃和石英基体上制备了TiO2薄膜. 在氧气流速超过阈值的条件下溅射,能够得到均匀透明的TiO2薄膜. 在玻璃和石英基体上制备的薄膜都由均匀的锐钛矿型氧化钛晶粒组成,在晶粒中间分布着微小的孔隙. 尽管在整个光谱区域内石英基体的透射率都比玻璃基体高,但在两种基体上制备的TiO2薄膜的光谱吸收边沿基本相同. 薄膜中的Ti都以Ti4+形式存在. 两种TiO2薄膜光催化降解甲基橙的能力相差不大.

层层自组装技术(Layer-by-layer self-assembly,LbL)是正处于发展阶段的新技术.与传统成膜技术相比,该技术能组装的材料多种多样(如聚电解质、纳米颗粒、有机小分子等),可以通过模板精确控制薄膜的表面结构和尺寸.薄膜的通透性能和力学性能可以通过控制组装材料、沉积层数、组装条件等来改善.对层层自组装技术的研究进展及应用情况进行了综述,较为详细地介绍了层与层之间作用力的研究进展,阐述了LbL技术在电化学电容器、光敏微胶囊、分离膜、生物化学及药物释放中的应用,并对LbL技术的发展前景进行了展望
