The kinetics of the reversible martensitic transformation in a Cu-Zn-Al-Mn-Ni shape memory alloy has been studied by means of differential scanning calorimetry.The apparent activation energy has been calculated and the kinetic equations of positive and adverse martensitic transformation have been established with the variations of temperature and time.
