INTRAGRANULAR VC AND M_(23)C_6 IN GH36 SUPERALLOY

The distinct images of intragranular VC were observed on TEM in superalloy GH36 underwent normal heat treatment and prolonged aging.The size of VC particles were meas- ured by means of Moire pattern,and the misfit between VC and austenite was also calculated. The M23C6 enveloped in VC shell was also observed in the prolonged-aged specimens.The coherent relation between intragranular M_(23)C_6 twins and austenite as well as its coherent in- terface were also studied.

Determination of(Fe,Cr)_7C_3 in Cr27 cast iron results about 30 v.-%.Minor Si and Mn are present.Sectional area of the M_7C_3 grains is 1—50μm~2.Combining matrix analysis of elec- tron diffraction pattern with calculated angle between plane traces,{011}twins and also {013}twins producing local environment for Ru_7B_3 are observed in the orthorhombic M_7C_3. A crystallographic model for M_7C_3 is proposed.

EFFECT OF Nb ON STRENGTHENING OF Fe-BASE SUPERALLOY AT INTERMEDIATE HIGH TEMPERATURES

Because Nb accelerates the uniform distribution of MC phase and the grain refinement,as well as,increases the amount and stability of γ-phase,the tensile strength,ductility,stress rupture life and fatigue limit of Fe-30Ni-13Cr-1.2W-1.5Mo-2.5Ti-0.4AI superalloy at 650℃ can be improved with increase of Nb content up to 1.22 wt-%.The precipitation of small Laves phase particles dispersed along grain boundaries may be favourable to combined properties of the superalloy containing 1.22 wt-% Nb.It will be worsened only that the pre- cipitation of Laves phase particles'dispersed along grain boundaries may be favourable for combined properties of the superalloy containing 1.22 wt-% Nb.It will be worsened only that the precipitation of Laves phase is too more because of too high Nb content existhing.

Research on the drawing-up of the pole figure for orientation analysis of directional Si steel sheet

The magnetic property of soft magnetic metals and alloys depends strongly on the crystallographic orientation. In automated equipment for orientation research. the intensity for drawing up the pole figure is measured in detail. The present research shows that the accurate pole figure can be drawn up without measuring concretely the intensity. For directional Si steel sheet the measuring step may be 4 similar to 5 degrees. In this paper the experimental equation for defocusing correction was derived from the experimental data in different specimens with random orientation.

RESEARCH ON HOT FORMING PROCESS OF A RETAINING RING OF HIGH-NITROGEN STEEL

Mn18Cr18N, the high-nitrogen steel, is the 2nd generation material for manufacturing the retaining ring of firepower generators. In this paper, the hot deformation behavior of the material was investigated by thermo-mechanical modeling tests. And the flow stress curves of the steel were obtained for various combinations of the temperature and strain rate.Based on the results of the tests, the complex forming process of a retaining ring including punching, expanding and extrusion with an enclosure was put forward and simulated by means of numerical simulation method. The results indicate that the process is a novel and force-saved practical technology for manufacturing heavy retaining rings.

Research on Deformation, Texture and Properties of IF Steel in Multiple Rolling Technology

The relationships among the deformation, texture and deep drawing properties of IF steel were investigated. By adopting double cold rolling (DCR) technology, the deep drawing property has been developed evidently. With the aid of orientation distribution function (ODF) analysis, it was found that the main reason for good property is the counterbalance in intensity of the ideal texture component {111}<011> and {111}<112>.

SIMULATED RESEARCH ON HOT FORMING MECHANISM OF 35CrMo STEEL

The significance of this paper lies in the application of bending-upsetting 35CrMo steel in train crack-shaft. The hot deforming tests of 35CrMo steel have been done on the Gleeble-1500 testing machine with the deformation temperature at the range of 900癈-1250癈, a strain strain of 0.05 s-1, 0.5 s-1, 1.0 s-1 and compress degree of 15%-80%. Through respectively analyzing and studying the microstructure of the specimen and getting the data from the testing, the results obtained are as follows: the model of flow stress and the stress-strain relationship of material hot deformation, the model of dynamic and static re-crystallization and the correlative references of hot forming parameters and changes of microstructure. The hot deforming stress-strain curses and relevantly re-crystallized micro-structure of 35CrMo steel are drawn at the deformation temperature of 1250 and the strain rate of 1.0 s. Through analyzing and regressive calculating the grain size of the deformation specimen of 35CrMo steel at different locations under the large-deformation and high-temperature conditions, the hot-deforming model of grain calculation is verified. The experimental results and the model of grain calculation can provide scientific basis for analyzing the hot deformation processes and controlling quality.
