This paper presents a preliminary study on the dielectric properties and curing of three
different types of epoxy resins mixed at various stoichiometric mixture of hardener,
flydust and aluminium powder under microwave'energy. In this work, the curing pro-
cess of thin layers of epoxy resins using microwave radiation was investigated as an
alternative technique that can be implemented to develop a new rapid product devel-
opment technique. In this study it was observed that the curing time and temperature
were a function of the percentage of hardener and fillers presence in the epoFy resins.
Initially dielectric propel-ties of epoxy resins with hardener were measured which was
directly correlated to the curing process in order to understand the properties of cured
specimen. Tensile tests were conducted on the three different types of epoxy resins
with hardener and fillers. Modifying dielectric properties of the mixtures a significant
decrease in curing time was observed. In order to study the microstructural changes
of cured specimen the morphology of the fracture surface was carried out by wing
scanning electron microscopy.

Passive film formed on 304 stainless steel in 2.5 mol/L H2SO4 solution by using alternating voltage (A. V.) passivation have been investigated by measuring capacitance and photoelectrochemical parameters. The investigation of the effect of measure frequency on the slope of Mott-Schottky curve has been carried out. The photoelectrochemical measurements were consistent with the capacitance measurement. Analysis of the experimental results showed that the passive film formed 304 stainless steel by using A. V. passivation exhibits semiconducting properties. Using the simple model of semiconductor rather than the multi-donor level model can explain satisfactorily the semiconducting behavior of the film formed on 304 stainless steel by using A.V. passivation.

在不同温度下测试了X70管线钢动态断裂韧度K1d、J1d和止裂韧度K1a以及夏氏V型缺口冲击韧度Ak,对三者的关系进行了分析.结果表明:温度和加载速率都对断裂韧度产生影响;加载速率变化引起的韧-脆断裂转变具有热激活特征,在热激活分析基础上,在应力强度因子速率K=15 MPa·m1/2s-1条件下,得出断裂韧度、止裂韧度和冲击韧度三者的关系:Ak=4.84×106T-2.8K1d(或K1a).可以用小试样Ak数据计算得到K1d和K1a.

High corrosion resistance Cu/Ni-P coatings were electrodeposited on AZ91D magnesium alloy via suitable pretreatments, such as one-step acid pickling-activation, once zinc immersion and environment-friendly electroplated copper as the protective under-layer, which made Ni-P deposit on AZ91D Mg alloy in acid plating baths successfully. The pH value and current density for Ni-P electrodeposition were optimized to obtain high corrosion resistance. With increasing the phosphorous content of the Ni-P coatings, the deposits were found to gradually transform to amorphous structure and the corrosion resistance increased synchronously. The anticorrosion ability of AZ91D Mg alloy was greatly improved by the amorphous Ni-P deposits, which was investigated by potentiodynamic polarization curve and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The corrosion current density (I(corr)) of the coated Mg alloy substrate is about two orders of magnitude less than that of the uncoated. (C) 2011 Elsevier B. V. All rights reserved.

The high-order perturbation formulas of zero-field splitting D and gyromagnetic factors g(parallel to) and g(perpendicular to) for 3d(3) ions in tetragonal symmetry are established by using a two-spin-orbit(SO)-parameter model where the contributions to these EPR parameters from both the SO coupling of the central 3d(3) ions and that of the ligands are considered. From these formulas, the local structural parameters for the tetragonal V2+-V-M centers in MCl:V2+ (M = Na, K, Rb) crystals are estimated from the EPR data. The results are compared with those obtained from the conventional one-SO-parameter model where only the contribution of the SO coupling of central 3d(3) ions is included. The reasonableness of the results based on the two-SO-parameter model is discussed.

K(2)Zn(3)(P(2)O(7))(2) was synthesized by solid state reaction and its crystal structure was determined by ab initio method from powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) data. The title compound was determined to be orthorhombic with space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), Z=4, and lattice parameters a=12.901(8) angstrom, b=10.102(6) angstrom, and c=9.958(1) angstrom. Values of lattice parameters from 303 to 573 K were measured by temperature-dependent XRD. Thermal expansion coefficients alpha(0), lattice parameters, and cell volume at 0 K were determined to be alpha(0)(a)=1.62327X 10(-4)/K, a(0)=12.855(4) angstrom, alpha(0)(b) = 1.17921 X 10(-4)/K, b(0)=10.070(8) angstrom, alpha(0)(c)=2.62364X 10(-4)/K, c(0)=9.880(4) angstrom, and alpha(0)(V) = 6.599 X 10(-2) /K, V(0) = 1278.967(0) angstrom(3). The specific heat equation as a function of temperature was determined to be C(p)=0.77115 +0.00231 T-1241.60027T(-2)- 1.4133 X 10(-6)T(2) (J/K g), for temperatures from 198 to 710 K. 目的:提高AZ91 D镁合金的耐腐蚀性能,扩大其应用范围。方法先在AZ91 D镁合金表面化学镀Ni-P镀层,再化学镀Ni-Sn-P镀层,形成Ni-P/Ni-Sn-P双镀层。研究Ni-P/Ni-Sn-P双镀层的表面形貌和耐腐蚀性能,并与Ni-P单镀层进行对比。结果 Ni-P/Ni-Sn-P双镀层表面分布更均匀平整,缺陷较少,孔隙率较低,具有无定形结构。二次Ni-Sn-P镀层的腐蚀电位约为-0.77 V,略低于一次化学镀Ni-P层(约-0.68 V),两镀层间的电位差使得其构成了微腐蚀电偶,Ni-P层作为阴极,Ni-Sn-P层作为阳极,阳极优先被腐蚀。结论 Ni-P/Ni-Sn-P双镀层的Ni-Sn-P外层能为Ni-P内层提供阴极保护,较好地横向分散腐蚀电流,从而增强AZ91 D镁合金基底的耐腐蚀性能。

A phytic acid conversion film with especial functional groups was proposed as the pretreatment layer between Ni-P coating and AZ91D magnesium alloy substrate, to replace the traditional pretreatment. In the process, the silane coupling agent was adopted as connector between conversion film and palladium ion with catalysis. The microstructure of the phytic acid conversion coatings was observed using scanning electronic microscopy, while the composition and functional groups were analyzed by energy dispersive spectrometer and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The bonding between Si-OH of the silane coupling agent and hydroxyl of phytic acid was validated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and the existence of palladium ion was also verified. The subsequent Ni-P deposited on the layer was also characterized by its structure, morphology, and corrosion resistance. The results show that the Ni-P coatings with the phytic acid pretreatment on AZ91D magnesium alloy have good corrosion resistance. (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
