In this paper, an in situ metallographic video system was used to study the morphology in Cu-Zn-Al shape memory alloy (SMA) during thermal cycling phase tmnsforma-tion. There are seven different types of martensite morphology in Cu-Zn-Al SMA,i.e. plate, spean bamboo, noose, round-spot, line and dot-like martensites. During transformation and inverse-transformation, the thermoelastic martensites were rising and falling, growing and shrinking, splitting and merping. The growth patterns of thermoelastic martensite were divided into three types: fast growing, very slow ex-pansion and uniform automatic growth. Automatic growth appeared when ageing at a temperature below Ms. The result, for the first time, coofirmed Olson and Cohen,s suggestion that thermoelastic martensite may be automatically grown when ageing be-low Ms. With increasing numbers of thermal cycling, both the memory recovery ratio (% )and memory recoverp degradation (%) degraded logarithmically. The degrada-tion was steep in the initial stage and then became more and more gradual in the middle and the final stages caused by the stabilisation of martensite. In the initial stage, vacancies assumed the controlling role, while dislocations took the major role in other stages. The martensite transformation caused the intedeces to become bent and blurmd, but with increasing cycling numbers, the movements of interface had the same degradation effects as the memory recovery ratio curves. Under these conditions, we also found the martensites on one side of the intedece became reorientated and par-allel to the intedece. It was therefore concluded that the movement degradation of the interface and the appearance of bamboo like martensite induced the degradation of two way shape memory effect (TWMP).

Investigation was carried out of the crack growth rate in weld metal and heat affected zone (HAZ)of offshore structural steels,homemade steel 36Z together with foreign steel A537 of similar strength grade by comparison,in artificial sea water undergone fatigue with different frequencies.The crack growth rate in weld metal and HAZ of steel 36Z fatigued at low fre- queney may be 3—5 and 4—10 times as high as that at high frequency respectivley.The crack growth rate for steel 36Z may fairly match that of A537,The crack growth model and frac- ture of weld metal in corrosive medium were also discussed.

Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China
It is demonstrated that the nickel can be deposited directly on the surface of carbon nanotubes without pre-sensitization by Sn2+ and Pd2+ in a watt bath containing suspended nanotubes by electroplating. The nickel is deposited as spherical nanoparticle on the nanotubes. By increasing reaction time, the carbon nanotube is fully coated with nickel. A probable model, which represents the formation process of carbon nanotube nickel composites by electroplating, is presented, The results show that this method is efficient and simple for preparing carbon nanotube-metal composite.

利用RD-2型高温持久试验机、高分辨透射电子显微镜和能谱仪研究了国产S30432耐热钢在供货态及不同温度、应力条件下持久断裂后的第二相,尤其是Z相的析出行为及影响因素.结果表明:供货态S30432钢中只存在MX相;在650℃、170 MPa、10 712 h持久条件下析出了M23 C6碳化物和富铜相;在700℃、150MPa、937 h条件下,不仅析出了M23 C6碳化物和富铜相,还出现了Z相及包含MX相和Z相的颗粒;在700℃、150 MPa、1 944 h条件下Z相粗化缓慢,在700℃、100MPa、11 832 h条件下Z相粗化明显;高温和应力均会加速Z相的析出.

The present study is concerned with the effect of filler metals such as austenitic stainless steel, ferritic stainless steel and duplex stainless steel on tensile and impact properties of the ferritic stainless steel conforming to AISI 409M grade. Rolled plates of 4 mm thickness were used as the base material for preparing single pass butt
welded joints. Tensile and impact properties, microhardness, microstructure and fracture surface morphology of the joints fabricated by austenitic stainless steel, ferritic stainless steel and duplex stainless steel filler metals were evaluated and the results were reported. From this investigation, it is found that the joints fabricated by
duplex stainless steel filler metal showed higher tensile strength and hardness compared to the joints fabricated by austenitic and ferritic stainless steel filler metals. Joints fabricated by austenitic stainless steel filler metal exhibited higher ductility and impact toughness compared with the joints fabricated by ferritic stainless steel and duplex stainless steel filler metals.

分别采用三点弯曲SE(B)与紧凑拉伸C(T)试样,通过-20℃的低温裂纹尖端张开位移CTOD断裂韧性试验及疲劳裂纹扩展速率da/dN试验,研究了S355N及S355N-Z25结构钢的裂纹启裂与扩展的抗力.研究结果表明:S355N钢抵抗裂纹启裂及前期扩展的能力比S355N-Z25钢强,但前者抵抗裂纹后期扩展的能力比后者弱;当应力强度因子范围,△K小于34.3MPa·√m时,S355N钢的疲劳抗力比S355N-Z25钢弱,当△K等于34.3MPa·√m时,两者具有相同的疲劳抗力,当△K大于34.3MPa·√m时,前者的疲劳抗力比后者强.研究结果对两种钢板在工程上应用及结构的安全评定提供了参考.

采用陶瓷工艺制备C02Z(Ba3(Co0.4Zn0.6)2Fe23.4O41)和BaM(BaFi1.4Co1.4Fe9.2O19)六角铁氧体,二次球磨时掺杂少量BST(BaSrTiO3)铁电材料,对比研究了BST掺杂对Z型和M型铁氧体在1MHz~1GHz频率范围内相对复磁导率(μr=μr1-iμr")的影响.BST的掺杂使Z型铁氧体μr增大,共振频率点移向低频;使M型铁氧体的μr减小,共振频率点移向高频.通过对其微观结构和磁参数的测试分析,讨论了BST掺杂对Z型和M型铁氧体复磁导率不同影响的作用机理.

本文采用M-Z干涉测量的方法,研究了半三角形翼片纵向涡发生器强化换热方案对矩形通道内气体流动换热的影响,获得了安装纵向涡发生器前后对流换热温度场的M-Z干涉图像.通过对实验获得的干涉图像进行分析处理,表明安装纵向涡发生器后,通道内入口段流动的热边界层明显变薄,反映了纵向涡对流动换热的强化作用,验证了将M-Z干涉测量方法应用于纵向涡强化换热研究的可行性.

The changes of Mn-Y (Y = S, Se, Te) bond lengths R with the Mn composition x in the diluted magnetic semiconductors Zn1-xMnxY are calculated from the optical spectra and their pressure shifts. The calculated results suggest that the Mn-Y bond lengths change little with the Mn composition x-much less than expected from lattice parameters as determined by X-ray diffraction. These results are also in good agreement with the observed values obtained from the EXAFS measurements. It appears that for ternary A(1-x)M(x)Y (M denotes the divalent transition-metal ion) alloys the changes of M-Y bond lengths R with the M composition x can be studied from their optical spectrum data. 研究了β晶型成核剂(酰胺化合物)成核改性纤维级聚丙烯Z30S的力学性能,进行了广角X射线衍射和DSC分析.发现成核改性后生成了β晶型聚丙烯,因而聚丙烯Z30S的冲击性能提高.通过纺丝-拉伸实验和对纤维进行广角X射线衍射分析、SEM观察,发现成核改性纤维在纺丝拉伸过程中发生了晶型转变,产生大量微孔隙.
