Based on the TEM analysis of substructures of lower bainite in two steels containing Si,the lattice invariant shear elements were determined and a plastic accommodation double-shear model of phenomenological crystallography was proposed.The theoretical predictions about crystallography given by the model are in good agreement with the experimental data for the steels tested.
