ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE EMBEDDED-ATOMMETHOD FUNCTION OF TITANIUM AND TEMPERATURE

Temperature - dependent Embedded-Atom-Method (EAM) function of hcp titanium have been determined by fitting to the lattice constants and elastic constants measured at various temperatures as well as by considering the universal Rose's relation.The EAM functions thus obtained satisfy the stable structure requirement and Cauchy discrepancy. This work shows that EAM functions do have temperature-dependence,and in the meanwhile it also provides EAM functions of titanium for the study of Ti-based metallic materials at various temperatures.

The effects of stress components on nucleation sites and propagation directions of stress cor- rosion cracks in brass were investigated with specimens under mode Ⅱ and mode Ⅲ loadings. The results indicated that under mode Ⅱ loading,stress corrosion cracks nucleated on the site with maximum normal stress component and propagated along the plane perpendieular to the maximum normal stress,under mode Ⅲ loading,the stress corrosion crack was not evident on the 45°plane due to the general corrosion in aqueous solution with high NH_4OH concentra- tion,while stress corroded in aqueous solution with low NH_4OH concentration, numerous cracks with spacings of 10—150μm were found on the 45°plane with maximum normal stress and no stress corrosion cracks was observed on the plane with maximum shear stress.

Quantitative analysis of populations having a geometric structure,which has developed into a special scientific subject called microstructology or stereology,is of great importance to the characterization and evaluation of microstructures and their evolution in various processes.This paper, besides a brief discussion on those topics such as the recent developments of computer assisted image analysis,mathematical morphology,and fractal analysis,will mainly focus on the scope,fundamen- tals,present status,and perspectives of classical stereology.Several case examples of its application to materials science will also be given.

耐深低温、高补偿量新型磁温补偿合金1J30M的研制

磁温补偿合金1J30经深低温处理后合金中的部分奥氏体转变为马氏体,致使合金的磁温补偿能力下降.通过调整镍含量,同时添加铬,得到了新型磁温补偿合金1J30M.这种新型磁温补偿合金既具有1J30合金的磁温补偿能力,又具有1J32合金的耐深低温能力.

电子束固化M40J/EB99-1复合材料性能研究

研究了电子束固化高模量石墨化碳纤维M40J增强EB99-1环氧树脂复合材料的常规力学性能、耐热疲劳性能和热物理性能.结果表明,电子束固化M40J/EB99-1复合材料具有比热固化M40J/5228和M40/4211复合材料优异的综合力学性能和耐热疲劳性能.

MnP_(1-x)M_x系列合金的磁热效应

研究了1:1型MnP基系列合金MnP_(1-x)M_x(M=Si,Sb,Ge,Zn,Sn)(x=0,0.1)的结构及其磁热效应.室温X射线衍射表明该系列合金的主相结构均为正交MnP结构,空间群为Pnma.在用Ce,Sb,Zn,Sn作为替代元素的合金中存在少量第二相Mn_(5.64) P_3.磁性测量表明该系列合金MnP_(1-x)M_x(M=Si,Sb,Ge,Zn,Sn)(x=0,0.1)的存在由铁磁-顺磁的二级相变.其居里温度T_c分别为286,295,291,295,295 K.通过磁化曲线计算了MnP_(1-x)M_x(M=Si,Sb,Ge,Zn,Sn)(x=0,0.1)合金的最大等温磁熵变-△S_m,均在0.7-1.3 J·kg~(-1)·K~(-1)之间.

The morphology of the dark and bright regions observed by transmission electron microscopy for the Zr(64.13)Cu(15.75)Ni(10.12)Al(10) bulk metallic glass strongly depends on the ion beam parameters used for ion milling. This indicates that the ion beam could introduce surface fluctuation to metallic glasses during ion milling.

X70管线钢J1d和K1a与V型缺口Ak关系研究

在不同温度下测试了X70管线钢动态断裂韧度K1d、J1d和止裂韧度K1a以及夏氏V型缺口冲击韧度Ak,对三者的关系进行了分析.结果表明:温度和加载速率都对断裂韧度产生影响;加载速率变化引起的韧-脆断裂转变具有热激活特征,在热激活分析基础上,在应力强度因子速率K=15 MPa·m1/2s-1条件下,得出断裂韧度、止裂韧度和冲击韧度三者的关系:Ak=4.84×106T-2.8K1d(或K1a).可以用小试样Ak数据计算得到K1d和K1a.

The magnetic properties of Nd_2(Fe_(1-x)M_x)_(14)B(M=C and Si) compounds have been investi- gated.Substituting Fe by small amount of metalloid C and Si atoms,the compounds are in tetragonal structure and have uniaxial anisotropy.The substitution of C for part of Fe de- creases the Curie temperature of the compounds and the intrinsic coercivity of bond samples at low temperature.The replacement of Fe by Si makes the Curie temperature increase with a maximum at the vicinity of x=0.15.When the range of the content of Si is 0≤x≤0.10,the coercivity distinctly increases at room temperature.from 62.7 kA/m at x=0 to 138.7kA/m at x=0.06,where the residual magnetization has a maximum:in the mean time the saturation magnetization decreases only by a small amount.
