通过建立1:3的水模型试验,对某钢厂的中间包进行挡墙优化及气幕挡墙试验,运用fluent6.3软件,对水模型试验结果进行数值模拟计算。挡墙优化后中间包采用方形有檐湍流控制器,下挡墙高400mm,距离冲击区的距离为2295mm。气幕代替下挡墙试验,得出较优的吹气量为1.5m^3/h,吹气位置应距离冲击区2295mm。进行中间包吹气工业试验,得出吹气后的中间包铸坯全氧质量分数为29.8×10^-6,较原中间包铸坯的34.7×10^-6,减少14.1%。大颗粒夹杂物含量由原来的5.83mg/(10kg)减少到4.30mg/(10kg)。

A 1 : 3 water model was found, baffles and gas curtain optimization experiment were carried on tundish. Water modeling experiment result was numerically calculated by software fluent 6.3. Optimized tundish was get, square turbulence inhibitor with eaves was used, the height of dam is 400mm, the distance between dam and pouring region is 2295mm. Gas curtain replacing dam experiment was carried, it is concluded that the optimized gas flow rate is 1.5 m3/h, the distance between gas curtain and pouring region is 2 295 mm. Industrial tests have been carried on tundish with gas blowing, it is concluded that total oxygen in slabs of tundish with gas blowing is 29.8 × 10^-6, compared with total oxygen in slabs of original tundish, which is 34. 7 × 10^-6, has decreased by 14. 1%. Large inclusion content in slabs reduced from 5.83 rag/(10 kg) to 4.30 rag/(10 kg).
