SnO2 nanoparticles with the average size of 3.7 nm have been successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method.The particles were characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM. The XRD results show that the products are all at nanometer scale,and the crystallite size increases with increasing of the heat-treatment temperature. The SEM and TEM photographs indicate that the particles are all monodispersed with narrow size distribution.
