导电电极决定碳纳米管(CNT)阴极的接触方式和导电特性,影响阴极场发射特性和使用寿命.为改善膜层与基底的附着特性,磁控溅射制作亲碳性Ni电极.微观表征发现Ni基CNT阴极中生成了碳化镍相,这增加了CNT与电极间形成欧姆接触概率,降低甚至消除了从电极到CNT的电子传输势垒,能有效提高阴极导电性.场发射特性测试结果显示Ni基,尤其是ITO/Ni基CNT阴极的场发射电流密度和场发射均匀性显著提高,并能够激发均匀的高亮度.
Electrode has great importance of interface structure and electrical conductivity in CNT cathode, accordingly field emission properties and life span of CNT cathode are influenced.To enhance adhesion performance between CNT and electrode,Nickel electrode which is easy to be carbonized is fabricated.Microscopic characterization shows that Ni3 C phase is synthesized in CNT cathode printed on Nickel substrate. Hence probability of ohmic contact increases and the conductivity of CNT cathode is improved,and decreases and even eliminates potential barrier between electrode and CNT,as well as increase electric conductivity of CNT cathode.Field emission tests show that field emission current density and uniformity of CNT cathode based on Ni electrode are enhanced remarkably,especially for ITO/Ni electrode,uniform and high luminance can be excited.
