涂层刀具是一种先进的切削工具,由于其优良的切削性能而备受人们关注.综述了各种涂层刀具的切削性能及其在切削加工中的应用现状.涂层刀具的种类从单涂层刀具发展到多元复合涂层刀具;涂层的层数从单层发展到多层,而且各单涂层的厚度趋于纳米化.因此,纳米复合涂层刀具将是今后涂层刀具的应用热点.与未涂层刀具相比,涂层刀具可有效地延长刀具的使用寿命,使刀具获得良好的综合机械性能,从而大幅度地提高其机械加工效率.
