为了研究微米级碳化硅颗粒(SiCp)尺寸和含量对中体积分数SiCp增强铝基复合材料强化机制的影响,用粉末冶金工艺制备SiCp体积分数为30%~ 40%,颗粒尺寸为3~40 μm的SiCp/2024Al复合材料,利用TEM,万能材料试验机等对材料微观结构和拉伸性能进行了研究.结果表明,复合材料的抗拉强度和硬度均随着SiC颗粒尺寸的增大而减小,随体积分数的增加而增大.复合材料的强化是由多种强化机制协同作用的结果,SiC颗粒尺寸主要通过位错强化和细晶强化显著影响对复合材料的强化效果.
In order to study the effects of micrometric SiCp size on tensile properties and strengthening mechanisms of middle volume fraction SiC particulates reinforced aluminum matrix composites(AMMC),the SiC particulates reinforced aluminum matrix composite was fabricated by a powder metallurgy technique,the microstructure of the composites was observed by TEM and the tensile properties were measured.The results show that the tensile strength and hardness of the composite increase with decreasing SiC particulates size and increasing volume fraction.Strengthening effect of the composites is synergetic effect due to a variety of strengthening mechanisms.SiC particle size effect,mainly through dislocation strengthening and fine grain strengthening significantly affect the reinforcing effect of the composite.
