Griineisen Parameter is a nondimensional property usually used for describing the thermodynamic behavior of solid materials. By calculating the Grtineisen parameter of various fluids at different temperatures and pressures, the relationship with other thermodynamic properties are analyzed. Grtvneisen parameter changes steadily and unconspicuously in a wide range. As it is insensitive in the critical region, it could be introduced as a ruler to measure the imperfetion of the equation of state of non-ideal fluids, such as P-R and B-W-R equations of state.
