以水银为实验介质,通过物理模拟实验,考察板坯连铸结晶器电磁搅拌中,搅拌电流和水口出口角度对结晶器内金属液流动的影响.在搅拌电流分别为0、50、60A和水口出口角度分别为0°、15°、25°时,采用超声波多普勒测速仪测量模型内金属液的流速分布.结果表明:电磁搅拌的施加改变了结晶器内金属液流场分布,提高了金属液的流速,降低了自由液面的稳定性,使金属液冲击深度变浅;随着搅拌电流的增大,金属液流速、液面湍流度及冲击深度有增大的趋势;当水口出口角度为15°时电磁搅拌效果较佳.
