阐述了现代电磁技术的内涵,并介绍了电磁技术在金属材料科学与工程中的广泛应用,主要涉及电磁搅拌、电磁铸造、电磁制动、电磁净化、电磁感应加热、电磁悬浮和强磁场技术的发展.并讨论了电磁场问题的求解方法,常用的是有限差分法和有限元法.最后展望了电磁技术在材料科学领域中的应用前景.
