Several technical principles and typical electrolytic coloring processes for traditional anodizing are described,and the technical characteristics of traditional electrolytic coloring are summarized.The latest research trends in this field are introduced.As is one of the latest electrolytic coloring research trends the technological principle and main methods of multi-coloring technique are described in detail.It is predicted that the electrolytic coloring techniques will still be the main coloring technology for aluminum alloys for a long time,and it is pointed out that the multi-coloring technology has a bright development prospects.
