本文首先对R2Ti2O7(R=Dy,Ho)单晶的生长条件进行了探索,经过多次尝试,得到了较理想的生长条件,并获得了高品质的单晶.磁化率和比热测量证实了这些单晶材料具有自旋冰基态.另外,通过对不同条件下退火的Dy2Ti2O7单晶低温热传导的深入研究,发现R2Ti2O7单晶具有较小的声子峰,并且退火条件的变化对峰值的影响很小,该结果说明在这种自旋阻挫磁性材料中磁涨落对声子存在着较强的散射,而氧缺陷对声子峰的影响非常小.

In this paper, we report the growth conditions of R2Ti2O7 (R= Dy, Ho) single crystal. The magnetic susceptibilities and heat capacities data indicate the spin-ice ground state of these crystals. In addition, we perform the low-temperature heat transport measurements on Dy2Ti2O7 single crystals, which are annealed under different conditions. It is found that the oxygen defects have little effect on the phonon heat transport. The small phonon peak observed in R2Ti2O7 single crystals is mainly due to strong magnetic scattering induced by the magnetic fluctuations.
