用熔融插层法制备了聚丙烯/有机蒙脱土(PP/OMMT)系列复合材料,比较了两种马来酸酐接枝物(PP-g-MAH,POE-g-MAH)对体系的增容效果,同时,考察了OMMT含量对材料力学性能和线膨胀性能的影响。X射线衍射(XRD)和透射电镜(TEM)测试结果表明,增容剂的加入能够使OMMT在基体中分散尺寸变小并产生更多的插层和剥离,其中,POE-g-MAH比PP-g-MAH的增容效果好。材料的力学性能受增容剂品种和OMMT含量的影响,PP-g-MAH的加入可在不降低材料韧性的同时使其刚性也得到提高,POE-g-MAH对体系有良好的增韧效果,但却使材料的拉伸强度下降。线膨胀系数测试结果显示,OMMT的加入使聚丙烯的线膨胀系数显著下降,并且PP-g-MAH增容体系较POE-g-MAH增容体系下降更加明显。

PP/organic montmorillonite(OMMT) composites were prepared through melt intercalation method.The compatibilizing effect of two maleic anhydride grafted polymers(PP-g-MAH,POE-g-MAH) on the PP/OMMT composites was compared.The effect of the OMMT content on the mechanical properties and linear expansion coefficient of the composite was investigated.XRD and TEM results show that an exfoliated or intercalated structure of OMMT is formed when adding a little content OMMT in POE-g-MAH and PP-g-MAH compatibilization systems,respectively.POE-g-MAH has better compatibilizing effect than PP-g-MAH.The mechanical properties of composites were influenced by both the compatibilizer and the OMMT content.PP-g-MAH has the better effect on the rigidity improvement of the materials,while POE-g-MAH has the better effect on its toughness improvement.Adding OMMT in PP matrix significantly decreases its linear expansion coefficient.PP-g-MAH shows the better synergetic effect with OMMT than POE-g-MAH on decreasing the linear expansion coefficient of PP.
