采用无皂乳液聚合方法制备了以聚丙烯酸丁酯(PBA)为核、以聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)为壳的核壳粒子,讨论了引发剂量对种子乳液粒径的影响,MMA单体滴加速度对聚合反应的影响。用激光粒度仪和透射电子显微镜,分别测试了核壳粒子的粒径和形态。红外光谱(FT-IR)图谱证明了产物具有核壳结构。用合成的核壳粒子对环氧树脂进行增韧改性,冲击实验和扫描电镜结果表明,环氧树脂的缺口冲击强度较增韧前有了显著的提高,核壳粒子含量为3%时,共混体系的冲击强度达到峰值80.2 kJ/m2。
Core-shell particles with the soft core and hard shell structure were synthesized by the soap-free emulsion polymerization.Butylacrylate was used as the core monomer and methyl methacrylate as the shell monomer.Then the core-shell particles were obtained by the spay-drying method and the influence of initiating agent,potassium persulfate on the particle size of the seed emulsion was investigated.The effect of methyl methacrylate dropping speed on the polymerization was studied as well.And the laser particle size,infrared spectrometer,and transmission electron microscope were applied to study the size and configuration of core-shell particles.The result of infrared spectrum shows that the polymerization products possess core-shell structure.And the particles were also used as the tougher in the modification of epoxy resin.The results of impact experiment and scanning electron microscope suggeste that the notched impact strength of toughened epoxy resin has been increased obviously.The impact strength of modified epoxy resin is up to 80.2 kJ/m2 when the content of particles is 3%.
