金属陶瓷材料是基于TiC或Ti(C,N),以Ni-Mo为金属相的复合材料,具有高硬度、高耐磨性、红硬性以及化学稳定性,因而被广泛用作刀具材料、模具材料以及耐热、耐磨部件.文章分析了在切削刀具领域Ti(C,N)金属陶瓷刀具、硬质合金(WC-Co)刀具等所占市场份额,并分析了Ti(C,N)金属陶瓷刀具应用受限的主要原因.文章还分析了Ti(C,N)金属陶瓷复合材料在热挤压模具方面应用的可行性.
