A Fitness-For-Service software system for pitting de fects was manufactured to make safe evaluation and calculate the residual life f or equipment which contain pitting defects based on the newest advantage of Fitn ess-For-Service technology. The software system can give the applicability autom atically with input the size of equipment and defects. The testing showed that t he software can be used to make run/repair/replace decisions will ensure that da maged pressurized equipment can continue to operate safely.
