以间苯二甲酰氯(IPC)、对苯二甲酰氯(TPC)和双酚A(BPA)为原料,单官能团酚类化合物为封端剂,采用相转移催化界面缩聚法合成系列不同端基的双酚A型聚芳酯(PAR-TA)。用红外光谱(FT-IR)、核磁共振(1H-NMR)、差示扫描量热分析(DSC)、热重分析(TGA)及力学性能测试等对聚合物进行结构与性能的表征。结果表明,在反应过程中,选择合理的时间加入适量的单酚类化合物能有效地调控聚合物的分子质量及端基结构,封端后的PAR-TA熔融塑化温度(Ts)有所降低,而热稳定性提高,有利于改善其熔融加工性能;封端型PAR-TA具有优良的物理力学性能,且其拉伸强度明显高于未封端的聚芳酯。

A series of bisphenol-A polyarylesters with different terminal groups were designed and synthesized by phase transfer catalysis interracial poly-condensation, using terephthaloyl chloride (TPC), isophthaloyl chloride (IPC) and bisphenolA (BPA) as monomers and phenols compounds with mono-functional group as end-capping agent. The chemical structure of the copolymers was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FT-IR) and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum(1H-NMR). Thermal properties were analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The results show that in the reaction process, adding an appropriate amount of single phenolic compounds at a reasonable time can effectively regulate the polymer molecular weight and end group structure. The capped bisphenol-A polyarylesters (PAR-TA) melting plasticizing temperature (T,) has decreased, while the thermal stability is conducive to improving the performance of its melt processing. PAR-TA has excellent mechanical properties, and its tensile strength is significantly higher than the uncapped polyarylates.
