侧链型偶氮聚合物液晶是一种新型光子材料, 在光信息存储和光开关等领域都有重要的应用前景。近几年来,这方面的研究工作发展迅速, 已成为聚合物液晶领域中新的生长点。文中对偶氮聚合物液晶光致取向各方面的研究成果进 行了概要介绍,对其研究进展和发展趋向进行了综述。

In recent years, azobenzene liquid crystal line polymers have attracted increasing attention because of their potential use s in various photonic applications, such as optical switching and image storage. Researches dealing with the photoinduced alignment of liquid crystalline polyme rs(LCPs) containing azobenzene moieties in the side chain were reviewed in this article. The theory of the photoinduced alignment of polymer LCs, the methods of studying and the advancements of the present research were introduced briefly.
