为探索新型激光材料,采用高温固相反应法合成了(1at%) Nd∶ YTaO4多晶粉末,研究了其结构与发光性质.利用Rietveld方法对样品的X射线衍射谱进行精修得到晶胞参数、原子坐标等.测试了样品8K温度下的激发光谱以及8K和室温下808 nm激发的荧光光谱,对发光谱峰进行了指认,获得了Nd3+在YTaO4中的晶场能级分裂.结果表明,Nd3++的4 F3/2→4I11/2跃迁的发射截面为28.4×10-20 cm2,荧光寿命为155μs.较小的发射截面和较长的能级寿命表明Nd∶YTaO4是一种很有希望的激光二极管抽运的调Q激光材料.
