NiAl intermetallic compound is being considered as a material for high temperature applications,due to the combination of its many e xcellent properties,and in particular to its excellent oxidation resistance.Base d on the high aluminum activity,NiAl forms only the Al2O3 during high temper ature oxidation.In this paper the oxidation of NiAl at high temperature was revi ewed.
