采用溶液缩聚法合成得到了聚-2,6-苯并咪唑(PBI-mono)和聚-2,2′-辛撑-5,5′-二苯并咪唑(PBI-octa),红外光谱证实了其化学结构.热重分析结果表明,随着脂肪链的引入,PBI-octa的耐热性比结构相似但无脂肪链结构的聚苯并咪唑聚-2,2′-间苯基-5,5′-二苯并咪唑(PBI-ph)明显下降,而PBI-mono的耐热性与PBI-ph较为接近.主链结构中引入了脂肪链的PBI-octa溶解能力比PBI-mono和PBI-ph略高.对磷酸掺杂PBI-octa和PBI-mono的质子导电性研究表明,随着掺杂度的增大,二者的电导率均相应增大,PBI-octa的电导率略高于PBI-mono,在掺杂度较大时二者的电导率逐步趋于接近,主要取决于酸掺杂度.PBI-mono的电导率与温度的关系较为接近Arrhenius 关系,质子的输送主要依靠质子在磷酸根阴离子和咪唑环之间的跃迁实现,而PBI-octa则偏离了Arrhenius方程,质子的输送可能来自多种机理.
