承钢带钢厂在生产高速公路护栏板时出现了横向折痕缺陷，经调研，许多生产厂家都产生过此缺陷。采用现场跟踪、试验、分析、排查和理论分析、研究相结合的方法，找到了带钢产生横向折痕的原因，主要是卷取机二次扩张张力过大。弄清了产生缺陷的机制并采取减小卷取机二次扩张力和张缩块间间隙等措施，问题得到了圆满解决。
There were transversal laps in strip steel manufactured by Chengde Steel in the past. Many manufacturers′ products have the same defect . We analyzed the cause and mechanism of forming transversal laps in strip steel and has made practical use of the study result. The laps have been removed by using our method and the theoretical result is in good agreement with practical one.
