利用升温离子注入的方法对M50钢进行氮、碳等离子体基离子注入,注入能量为45 keV,利用GXRD分析了改性层的相结构,采用氧化锆球作为对磨副对处理前后的试样进行磨损性能测试,利用附带能谱的SEM对磨痕的形貌及成分进行分析,探讨其磨损机制.研究结果表明,改性层主要由马氏体及少量的Fe3C、CrN化合物所组成,随着温度的升高,化合物含量逐渐增加;改性层硬度明显提高,并在300℃出现硬度峰值,超出基体9.5 GPa;M50钢经过处理后磨损性能大幅度提高,磨损量降低幅度最多达到76.4%,磨损机制主要有氧化磨损、磨粒磨损和粘着磨损.
Nitrogen and carbon was implanted into M50 steel by plasma-based ion implantation at elevated temperature with energy of 45 keV.Phase structure of the implanted layer was examined by GXRD.Wear resistance test was performed on a ball-disk wear tester against ZrO2 ball.SEM and EDS were used to characarize the morphology of the wear track.The results show that the modified layer mainly consists of martensite and small amount Fe3C and CrN.With the increase of temperature,the compound content increases gradually.Hardness of the modified layers increases obviously.Hardness peak appears for the sample at 300 ℃,for which the hardness increases by 9.5 GPa than that of the un-treated sample.After the implantation treatment,wear resistance of the M50 steel is improved significantly.Results of SEM show that the dominate wear meachnism of the implanted layer is oxidation wear combined with abrasive wear and adhensive wear.
