以开发天然资源水芹烯的精细化学应用为目的,用松节油加工副产物β-水芹烯为原料,将β-水芹烯和马来酸酐(MA)按一定的比例混合,在160℃聚合反应30 min,产物经溶解沉淀法精制后得到淡黄色坚硬固体.采用红外光谱(IR)、X射线衍射(XRD)、凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)等方法对产物结构进行了表征,并初步探讨了聚合反应机理.结果表明,合成了一种萜烯马来树脂,结构以高分子交替共聚为主,反应机理为"电荷转移聚合机理".对产物的软化点、色度、酸值、热稳定性等性能的分析测试表明,这种树脂具有分子量大,软化点高的优点,在胶粘剂、涂料等领域有很大的应用潜力.
A kind of terpene-maleic resin was synthesized from maleic anhydride(MA) and β-phellandrene, a byproduct of turpentine application, aiming at developing the fine chemical applications of phellandrene.They were mixed at certain molar ratio, and polymerized by heating at 160 ℃ for about 30 min.The synthesized product was purified by resolve and precipitation to obtain a light yellow solid.The structure of the product was characterized by infrared spectroscopic(IR), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and gel permeation in chromatography(GPC).And the mechanism of polymerization reaction was discussed.The product is proved to be a terpene-maleic resin which is an alternating co-polymer formed through the charge-transfer polymerization reaction mechanism.The main properties of the product, such as softening point, color index, acid value and thermal stability were also examined.This resin large molecular weight and high softening point.Therefore, it would be found potential application in the fields of adhesive and coating.
