针对高分子专业很多学生对《高分子化学》课程中"自由基"这一概念认识模糊的现实,文中从"自由基"的内涵和外延两个方面展开论述,并把《有机化学》和《物理化学》课程中对"自由基"的论述,结合笔者对自由基认识的思考相对完整地"串讲"、解读并总结对"自由基"认识。总体来说,仅仅知道什么是自由基的"一段话定义性"描述是不够的。还必须更多地了解自由基的属性,自由基的行为和性质,才是对自由基具体的认识。

The concept of the "free radical" is not grasped deeply and wholly by many students and discussed in detail from its intension and extension due to students have doubt on it.Considerations of authors and descriptions of the concept of the "free radical" in the courses of 《Organic Chemistry》and 《Physical Chemistry》,are used to widely explain.In general,it is not enough to understand the concept of the "free radical" by giving out "one sentence or paragraph" definition.We can get more deeply and rich acknowledgement by understanding of its properties and its behaviors.
