通常只能与低价过渡金属卤化物/络合剂配合才能引发原子转移自由基聚合(ATRP)的引发剂2-溴异丁酸乙酯(EbiB),2-溴丙酸甲酯(MBP),二氯化苄(DCT)在氯化铜/五甲基二乙烯三胺,氯化铁/五(丙烯酸甲酯)二乙烯三胺等高价态过渡金属卤化物/络合剂的存在下也可以引发甲基丙烯酸甲酯的聚合,所得聚合物分子量分布较窄(1.10~1.20),反应具有较好的可控性.本文讨论了不同高价态过渡金属催化剂/络合荆以及聚合温度对反应的影响并深入探讨了反应机理.
The initiators used for ATRP such as ethyl-2-bromoisobutyrate(EbiB), metyl-2- bromo-propionate (MBP), and α,α-dichlorotoluene(DCT), which initiate ATRP only in conjunction with a reduced transition-metal complex, were found can also initiate polymerization of MMA in the presence of oxidized transition-metal complex (CuCl_2·2H_2O/PMDETA, FeCl_3·6H_2O/MA_5-DETA). The molecular weight distribution of the resulting polymer was rather narrow (-M_w/-M_n= 1.10~1.20) and the system showed good controllability. The effect of initiators, catalysts, ligands and polymerization temperature on the polymerization was investigated. The mechanism was suggested.
