采用熔体发泡法(以钙为增黏剂,TiH2为发泡剂)成功制备出孔隙率为(78±0.5)%、孔结构均匀的泡沫Al-0.16Sc合金,对其进行300℃等温时效处理,采用室温准静态压缩试验,研究了时效前后该合金的压缩和能量吸收性能.结果表明:300℃等温时效能明显提高泡沫铝合金的屈服强度,且其能在时效720h内基本保持不变;经较佳时效工艺处理(5~720h)后泡沫铝合金的屈服强度明显高于T6态Al-0.24Sc合金的和泡沫铝的,且接近于高强泡沫AlCu5Mn合金的;同时,300℃等温时效亦能明显提升该泡沫合金的能量吸收性能,时效10h后其能量吸收能力与高强泡沫AlCuSMn合金的相当,且能量吸收效率稳定.
