回顾了当前国际薄板坯连铸连轧技术发展现状，论述了中国薄板坯连铸连轧生产技术的发展历程。中国经过多年的生产实践和技术研发，不仅在薄板坯连铸连轧生产线的数量上、生产能力上位居世界第一，同时，在生产技术和关键装备研制与系统技术集成方面也取得了重大进展，薄板坯连铸连轧生产线的生产技术指标不断提高、生产品种不断扩大、高附加值产品份额逐年增加。在此基础上，提出了中国薄板坯连铸连轧生产中存在的问题及工作方向。

The worldwide status of thin slab casting process has reviewed briefly, and the development course of thin slab casting in China is discussed in detail. Nowadays, China is the number one of production of thin slab casting process in the world. Meanwhile, the great progress on production technologies, equipment development and integration of process system has been achieved. The index of production technique is improved gradually , the variety of steel product and proportion of high value added product of thin slab casting line are increased year by year. And finally, the problems and research direction of thin slab casting process in China are put forward.
