Based on the non-autonomous quantum master equation which describes the collision between a two-level system and other atoms or molecules, we investigate the systemic dissipative and decoherence properties. Using a novel algebraic dynamic method, we found the SU(2) circle plus U(1) dynamical symmetry of this system and obtained the exact solutions. Furthermore, the asymptotic behaviors of the master equation have been investigated. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
