以过氧化苯甲酰为链引发剂,采用接枝聚合的方法在聚甲基倍半硅氧烷的支链上修饰聚醋酸乙烯酯,制得甲基倍半硅氧烷与醋酸乙烯酯的接枝共聚物。产物的红外光谱中同时出现了羰基的1747 cm-1、甲基的1377 cm-1以及Si-O-Si的1027 cm-1和1121 cm-1等特征吸收峰,表明该产物中同时含有醋酸乙烯酯和聚甲基倍半硅氧烷两种功能成分。醋酸乙烯酯甲基倍半硅氧烷接枝共聚物将有望成为一种高效、低成本、无污染的二氧化碳增稠剂。

Polymethylsilsesquioxane has a extensive future as a direct carbon dioxide thickener despite some drawbacks,e.g.poor solubility and high cost.In this paper,one approach was applied to incorporate vinyl acetate to the side chain of polymethylsilsesquioxane,expecting that its solubility can be enhanced in carbon dioxide without the present of any co-solvent,reduce the use cost.We used the infrared spectrum(IR)and 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum(1H-NMR) to characterize the chemical structure of this polymer.In its IR spectrum,the bands at 1747 cm-1,1377 cm-1 and 1027,1121 cm-1,which should be contributed to carbonyl,methyl and Si-O-Si,respectively,can demonstrate the generation of the copolymer of vinylacete-methylsilsesquioxane.It is our hope that the copolymer of vinylacete-methylsilsesquioxane will be an efficient,low cost and nonpolluting carbon dioxide thickener.
