The study of the crystallization kinetics for the nano-size amorphous Fe76.9Ni6.2P2.0B14.9 powders has been performed by differential scanning calorimetry. It has been found that the activation energy of crystallization is 192 kJ/mol and the value of the Avrami exponent is n = 1.04. These values are much less than those obtained from the bulk:samples for similar alloy in the system of Fe-Ni-P-B by quenching. The possible reason for that is the nano-size and very high surface energy of the powders.
