新疆哈密的铜镍矿资源居全国第2位,采用化学方法、显微镜观察、SEM和EPMA分析等手段,研究哈密黄山南铜镍矿的化学组成、矿物组成及嵌布特征.结果表明:试样属轻微氧化的中低品位铜镍硫化矿石,其镍、铜的化学元素分析分别为0.62%和0.15%(质量分数);镍主要以硫化物(镍黄铁矿)和硅酸镍的形式存在.镍黄铁矿形态各异、粒度相对较粗;黄铜矿呈不规则状、粒度极不均匀.哈密黄山南铜镍矿石为星散浸染状构造,结构较为松疏,易生成细泥,恶化分选环境,因此,选择磨矿细度应适宜.现场尾矿中镍黄铁矿的含量很低,多为与磁黄铁矿或脉石毗连镶嵌构成镍的贫连生体,粒度为5~20 μm,再回收镍的幅度较小.
