We present an exact real space renormalization group approach to study the critical properties of the Vicsek fractal. This fractal lattice has a finite order of ramification. The physical model defined on it is exactly solvable. We argue that the short-range spin model on the Vicsek fractal shows no finite-temperature phase transition.
