Benzotriazole (BTA) has been in use for many years for the treatment of antiq- uities made of copper and copper alloys. According to the corrosion.phenomena of bronze and the parricclarities for preservation of caltural relics, we discussed the application aspect of BTA in the preservation of antiquities made of bronze.
