采用硫酸铝铵热分解方法制备出颗粒细小(~100 nm)、粒径分布范围窄、团聚程度轻、性能良好的α-Al2O3纳米粉体,并研究了氧化铝陶瓷刀具材料的制备及力学性能.研究表明,以氧化镁和氧化钇作添加剂,α-Al2O3纳米在1 550 ℃真空烧结2 h,可获得相对密度达98.7%的氧化铝陶瓷.样品的维氏硬度为17.0 GPa,洛氏硬度HRA为93,抗折强度404 MPa,断裂韧性5.7 MPa·m1/2,达到了高性能氧化铝陶瓷刀具的性能要求.
