为了准确描述激光与介质间的相互作用,提出椭圆模式下的半经典矢量理论.从自洽场方程组出发,分析了现有圆矢量理论的局限性,以实际的椭圆偏振模为本征模,推导出椭圆矢量理论公式,并进行了分析讨论.分析表明,椭圆矢量理论比较符合实际物理模型,物理意义明确,在椭圆度为0时演变为圆矢量理论,在半定量上和实验结果符合.这对完善半经典理论和环形激光器研究有一定参考价值.
