综述了近年来复合周期结构光子晶体的最新发展动向,从三种维度阐述了叠层复合和嵌套复合的结构设计思路,通过比较禁带调制性能,认为复合结构较单一结构具有更强的带隙调制作用,其中叠层复合是光子晶体禁带位置及宽度调制的重要手段之一,而嵌套复合主要针对带隙模式的调制.同时还介绍了各种复合结构的制备方法及可能的应用领域.
