用高温熔融工艺制备了四种不同Nd~(3+)掺杂浓度的镉铝硅酸盐玻璃样品,以纳秒Nd:YAG调Q激光器为光源,采用z-扫描技术研究了它们的非线性光学特性.结果表明,随着Nd~(3+)浓度的增加,样品的非线性折射系数和非线性吸收系数也增加;光限幅测量表明,当入射功率密度大于118mW/m~m2时,样品的透射功率密度与入射功率密度不再呈线性增加关系,而是随着入射功率密度的增加,透过率逐渐降低,透射功率密度增加缓慢,随着Nd~(3+)浓度的增加,其光限幅效应显著增强.分析表明其光限幅效应是由反饱和吸收过程所致.
Four Nd~(3+) -doped cadmium aluminum silicate glass samples with different doping concentration are fabricated by the high temperature melting process, and the nonlinear optical property is studied by z-scan technology while the nanosecond Nd: YAG Q-switching laser is worked as the lamp-house. The re-sults are shown as : with the increasing of doping concentration of Nd~(3+), the nonlinearity refractive index and the nonlinearity absorption index are increased, the measurement of the optical limiting indicates that the transmission power density and the incident power density of the sample is no longer a linear relation-ship when the incident power density is greater than 118mW/mm , and with the increment of the incident power density, the transmittance reduces gradually while the transmission power density increasing slowly. With the increment of doping concentration of Nd~(3+) , the effect of optical limiting is enhanced significantly.The analysis shows that the effect of optical limiting is due to the reverse saturable absorption.
