目前PDLC器件的制作方法有多种,但器件在显示时其电压一透过率特性通常存在明显的迟滞效应,不利于灰度显示.采用在PDIC基板内表面涂覆液晶取向层.使取向层沿非平行方向摩擦的方法可使迟滞效应得到显著改善.
