概述了电流变液材料的研究进展,时单组分分散相电流变液、复合分散相电流变液、液晶高分子电流变液等电流变液材料及其性能进行了介绍,并分析了存在的问题。为了突出目前电流变液材料研究的最新动态,促进新型电流变液材料的发展,对于近年来受到重视的液晶高分子电流变液和复合分散相电流变液,进行了较全面的总结和分析。

Electrorheological(ER) fluid is one kind of intelligent materials with great application potential.In this paper,recent advances in material aspects of ER fluids are reviewed.Properties and problems of different ER systems such as simple dispersed phase ER fluids,composite dispersed phase ER fluids and liquid crystalline polymer ER fluids,are analyzed.To give recent development in ER materials and to promote development of the new ER materials,more emphases are given on liquid crystalline polymer ER fluids and composite dispersed phase systems,which have received extensive interests in recent years.
