系统测试了制芯压实力及填砂预紧力实度对覆膜砂芯强度和密实度的影响。结果表明，在制芯过程中对覆膜砂施加一定的压实力及提高填砂预紧力实度均可提高砂芯的强度和密实度。应用此工艺可使覆膜砂型(芯)强度和密实度得以改善；也可在保证相同强度的前提下，使用低树脂含量和较粗的覆膜砂，以降低铸造生产成本并减小铸件气孔倾向。
The influence of pressure to the tensile strength and density of resin-bonded sand core was measured and analyzed by the numbers. As a result, the tensile strength and density and surface quality of the sand core will be greatly improved for the pressure.
