近年来,光取向已成为主流的液晶取向技术.除了在平板显示领域的广泛应用之外,光取向技术在液晶非显示领域也得到了广泛的应用.本文简要综述了南京大学液晶与微纳光学研究组利用一种偶氮苯类光取向剂进行图形化取向,进而实现了液晶光开关、特殊光场产生与调控、退偏器、太赫兹波片等元器件的制备、胆甾相液晶螺旋轴空间排列的控制等非显示应用.

In recent years, photoalignment technology has become a dominant alignment technique in liquid crystal fields.In addition to the flat panel displays, photoalignment has also been widely used in nondisplay fields.The review briefly introduces a photoalignment patterning technique based on a polarization-sensitive azo-dye agent and presents its application progresses in nondisplay fields including liquid crystal optical switches, special optical field modulation, depolarizer, terahertz waveplates, the manipulation of the cholesteric liquid crystal helical axes and so on.
