液晶显示具有对比度和能效不高的问题.动态调光可以有效提高液晶显示对比度并降低能耗.针对市场主流背光产品,提出了用于侧出式背光的全局调光算法.根据图像特征值,确定背光调光亮度.根据S曲线方程,对液晶像素进行补偿,高于S曲线拐点的像素亮度值增加,低于拐点的亮度值减少,有效提高静态对比度.最后进行了软件仿真,并开发了工程化样机.播放包括常见电视内容的视频,平均节能率为17%,没有人眼感知的失真.
