The iron and steel industry is a typical flow industry and a big energy consumer.The three processes before iron-making,which are sinter,coke and iron production,consume 70％ of the total energy consumption of the whole iron and steel making process,and have huge potentiality of energy saving.The new progresses,new technologies,key technical problems and expected effect of the energy saving solutions in the typical iron and steel making process flow are introduced,combing with the optimization of the process industry system and the developments of the energy saving technologies,which can further promote the technical progresses and structural adjustment in iron and steel industry.
